Fantastic professional portable toolbox style wall a/c cleaning machine. If this is your first living experience in Okinawa or if you've lived here for years, you may not know, or you may know how dirty and moldy these wall air conditioners can get. This machine is specifically designed to clean these wall a/c units (especially without damaging the coils). Local cleaning companies can charge up to $100/unit to clean, sometimes a bit less, sometimes more. But for the price of this machine, it will pay for itself after several cleanings. Included with this machine is a shower curtain and carrying bag (designed for this unit) to prevent water from spraying all over and to keep the cleaning contained within the curtain. I did have to tape a few spots on the curtain due to a few very small tears in the curtain itself, but works just fine with no leaking. You do have to use a clean larger bucket or clean trash can with clean water to siphon water through this unit to then spray the entire inside for cleaning. You also have to have a separate bucket (or I recommend a larger trashcan) for draining purposes. This machine has literally been a lifesaver from preventing illness or if you already have a condition like asthma, allergies, respiratory issues or even worse in some cases from breathing in dangerous mold/mildew spores. Clean them every 3-6months, and you'll have clean air all the time! I am firm on price of $500 (no negotiating please). No, you cannot find any machines like this in Okinawa. What is really nice is that you can use this unit anywhere in the world (great for PCS moves) because the AC power supply is rated 100V-240V. Also, you don't have to completely take apart your unit to remove the black fan blade (and behind it) where most of the mold and mildew accumulate. If interested, please feel free to let me know.
