Fantastic professional portable toolbox style a/c cleaning machine. If this is your first living experience in Okinawa or if you've lived here for years, you may not know, or you may know how dirty and moldy these wall air conditioners can get. This machine is specifically designed to clean these wall a/c units (especially without damaging the coils). Local cleaning companies can charge up to $100/unit to clean, sometimes a bit less, sometimes more. But for the price of this machine, it will pay for itself after several cleanings. Included with this machine is a protective curtain and cover with a carrying bag (for easy transport). This prevents water from spraying all over and to keep the cleaning contained within the curtain/cover. I did have to tape a few spots on the curtain due to a few very small tears in the curtain itself, but it has been repaired with waterproof tape and it works just fine with no leaking. You do have to use a clean larger bucket or clean trash can with clean water to siphon water through this unit to then spray the entire inside for cleaning. I do suggest you spray your coils/fan blade with an AC coil spray first, let sit for 15 minutes, and then spray with the machine to clean out all of the gunk! You also have to have a separate bucket (or I recommend a larger trashcan) for draining purposes. This machine has literally been a lifesaver from preventing illness or if you already have a condition like asthma, allergies or other respiratory issues and even worse in some cases breathing in dangerous mold spores. Clean them every 3-6months, and you'll have clean air all the time! I am firm on price of $400 or =¥ (no negotiating please). No, you cannot find any machines like this in Okinawa. What is really nice is that you can use this unit anywhere in the world (great for PCS moves) because the AC power supply is rated 100V-240V and even more importantly than voltage is the frequency for both 50/60Hz. Also, you don't have to completely take apart your AC unit to remove the black fan blade (and behind it) where most of the mold and mildew accumulate because this unit comes with a couple of angled sprayer tips for easier access.
