Working hours/days of the week:
Monday to Friday
8:00 - 17:00 (1-hour break)
Overtime hours will vary depending on the position and will be discussed during the interview.
Holiday:
Saturdays, Sundays, and Japanese national holidays.
Job Description:
As a Japanese Translator, you will play a key role in ensuring clear communication between Japanese-speaking and non-Japanese-speaking parties.
Your primary duties include translating written and verbal communication, interpreting during meetings and discussions, and maintaining accuracy in specialized terminology.
This position requires excellent linguistic skills, cultural awareness, and the ability to work in fast-paced environments.

Requirements Condition of Employment:
Must be able to work in Japan
Bilingual (Japanese-English) is required
Role & Responsibilities:
Review and process translation-related invoices, payments, and financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
Prepare and maintain detailed financial reports related to translation services, including costs for projects, research, and specialized terminology resources.
Assist in managing translation project budgets, forecasting costs for language services, document formatting, and review cycles.
Reconcile translation-related accounts, resolve discrepancies, and ensure accurate tracking of all financial aspects of translation projects.
Ensure compliance with internal financial processes, industry standards, and client-specific requirements, while maintaining high-quality translation deliverables.
Role:
Accurate Translation: Provide precise and culturally appropriate translation of documents, reports, and communications between Japanese and English.
Communication Skills: Facilitate clear and effective communication across teams, ensuring that language barriers do not hinder project progress.
Terminology Management: Maintain and update a glossary of technical and industry-specific terms to ensure consistency and accuracy in translations.
Educational Background: A degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field; certifications in translation (e.g., JLPT, ATA) are a plus.
Collaborative Support: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers and stakeholders, to ensure smooth communication and understanding.

Experience Preferred:
Valid certificate of interpreter training certification (preferred)
Excellent bilingual communication skills, both verbal and written
Possess a valid driver’s license
Be proficient with computers
Be familiar with the use of office equipment
Have good listening, memory, and dictation skills
Salary/Benefits:
