My name is Mika. I am a local from Okinawa, and I am currently teaching English to young children. The parents of my students wish to have connections with English speakers. I would love to organize events with native English speakers. I’m wondering if anyone is interested in joining us and making friends with local parents or connecting with families.
Don’t be discouraged, as our English learners are shy but eager to make friends with native English speakers. Plus, you and your family can learn and practice some Japanese as well!
If you are interested in practicing Japanese with locals and helping their English skills as well, we are hosting an event at a beach in Nanjo on the 4th of August (Sunday) from 10:30-13:30.
