If you are interested in playing on our Combined Military Service and Community Rugby Football Club, give us a shout. Non military are very welcome and Japanese. Hope you can join us. We play 7s 10s and 15s and we travel. Please be athletic, tough, fit with good hands. Former wrestlers, mma, football, basketball, soccer, lacrosse, weight lifters, sprinters often adapt quickly. We just ask you be fit the games are long and in the okinawan heat-- 14, 20 or 80 minute matches depending on the style we play 7s, 10s or 15s.
Please get proper half steel/plastic soft ground Rugby cleats prior to practice. We are not looking for tourist players please. Serious interest players who can give their time to consistent practice each week. Matches are normally on Sunday’s.
We are an official team in the ORFU and JRFU rugby Unions with official ID registration number. Coach is certified with Japan license, with certified safety assistants and manager we have JRFU medical insurance and AIG team liability insurance. Team is a recognized Private Organization authorized to operate on MCIPAC facilities and areas. All players complete mandatory annual training certificates for safety and game knowledge purposes. All are welcome.
